The case of the SPB165J1 has a diameter of 39.3 mm and is divided by sharp, pronounced curves. Its precisely polished and flat surfaces result in an incomparable shine. The solid grain steel belt is 20 mm wide. It can be attached with a two-part, push-button frog lock. Its glass is made of scratch-resistant sapphire, the inner side of which is provided with an anti-reflective layer.
Its heart beats with a 6R35 Seiko automatic movement. This 24-jewel caliber can also be wound from the crown, has a stop-seconds function and a power reserve of 70 hours at maximum spring tension. This 6R35-üs automatic movement operates at a frequency of 21600, as is customary from the Japanese, which means that the second hand moves 6 times per second. The threaded glass back of the Sharp Edged SPB165J1 also allows insight into the workings of its beautiful structure. In terms of water resistance, it can withstand a pressure of 10 bar, which allows showering, bathing, and even swimming. In order to make it easier to read in the dark, the bases of the pointers and indexes have been given a so-called Lumibrite coating.

Becsatolása kétrészes, nyomógombos békazárral lehetséges. Üvege karcálló zafírból készült, amelynek belső oldala tükröződésmentes réteggel is el lett látva.
A szívét egy 6R35-ös Seiko automata szerkezet dobogtatja. Ez a 24 köves kaliber koronáról is felhúzható, másodperc stoppos és 70 óra járástartalékkal bír a rugó maximum feszítettsége esetén. A pontos dátum a 3-as index melletti ablakban olvasható le. Ez a 6R35-üs automata werk a japánoktól jól megszokott módon 21600-as lengésszámon működik, ami azt jelenti, hogy a másodperc mutató másodpercenként 6-szor mozdul el.
